Danjiangkou People's Court and Danjiangkou Women's Federation established a family education guidance service center in Danjiangkou, a city in Central China's Hubei Province, in March.

After the opening ceremony, a forum on the protection of minors' legitimate rights and interests was held. At the forum, 50 volunteers were appointed by the court to offer assistance to the minors involved in juvenile delinquency cases. The volunteers discussed ways of preventing juvenile delinquency.

The federation made three proposals: Improve the environment for minors' development; establish a coordinated mechanism for minors' protection; and, conduct publicity and education activities aimed at parents.
